New Island Lava Java Coming Soon

Island Lava Java is planning a move into a new and nearby two-story location in the Coconut Grove Marketplace. Construction is nearly complete and a March opening expected. A Kona favorite, Island Lava Java has served up incredible views along with excellent food for several years. The District welcomes the new investment and the expansion of seating capacity.
Kona Trolley

As more and more folks are opting to use the Kona Trolley rather than driving, a new brochure was developed to assist riders with navigating the route and Kona trolley stops. The popular Kona Trolley runs a looped route throughout the day. Residents and visitors are encouraged to utilize the open-air trolley, and at just $2 it is an affordable transportation option. The more cars we can remove from the roadways - the less congested for all!
Kokua Kailua

The popular afternoon stroll returns on Sunday, February 19 from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm when Alii Drive in Kona's Historic Kailua Village becomes a festive, pedestrian-only outdoor marketplace. Expect a fun family day atmosphere. Don't forget to stop in at Hulihee Place at 4:00 pm for a free musical afternoon on the seaside lawn.
