Annual Membership Event was a Success!
Thank you to all those who attended our Annual Membership Event! The event was a great celebration of ICNC's 2017 achievements, which includes beginning construction on The Hatchery, food and beverage incubator, the approval of a new green line station at Lake and Damen, and the re-branding of the ICNC incubator.
A special thank you to our sponsors: UPS, First Midwest Bank, and Dennis Vulich of VCOR, for providing the space and entertainment!
Recently, some of the companies in Make City, ICNC's manufacturing incubator, have been in the news!
- Farmer's Fridgeprovides wholesome, fresh food that is prepared daily and sold through fridges across Chicago and Milwaukee. Read recent articles in Fast Company and Well and Good.
- Shoe Drop is a shoe and handbag repair service that allows you to send in or drop off items in need of repairs, that will then be fixed and shipped back to you. Read a recent article about them in Chicago Magazine.
ICNC Creates a 2,200 sq. ft. Lounge for Make City Tenants!
ICNC recently held the grand opening of a new tenant lounge that will serve as a communal space for Make City tenants to hold meetings, take phone calls, or to take a break during the day.
The space, built out by ICNC's maintenance team with assistance from Synergy Construction Group and Craft Architecture, contains an open seating area, desks, a kitchen, a conference room that can be booked to use for meetings, and two phone booths for personal phone calls.
