Coaches' Corner
From Coach Heather
Hi!
My name is Heather and I have been coaching at IGM for about a year and a half. I have always had strong love for the sport of gymnastics!    This love of mine gave me the desire to compete in club, high school then 4 years in college. This love has also lead me to coaching...I have coached both in club and as a high school head coach for many years.
One might ask, why such a strong love?  The answer is simple yet not containing just one answer. I love how it has challenged me both physically and emotionally. Gymnastics is a sport one has to fight through the pain at times, yet it also gives one an overwhelming feeling of success when getting that skill one has worked so hard to achieve. Once my own competing days were over, my focus has been on other gymnasts achieving their goals; my heart beats with excitement as if I were again a gymnasts myself.
What lead me to IGM is the birth of my now 5 year old daughter and my almost 3 year old triplets, I wanted to spend more time with them along with giving them the opportunity to be in the wonderful sport of gymnastics!
Hope to see you soon,
Heather
