Changes in Rome
The Aldrovandi Palace Villa Borghese, a deluxe hotel in central Rome, is now part of the Dogus Group (D-Hotel Group). This hotel is now a sister property of the luxurious Capri Palace. What a combination!

On the 24th of March 2016, the Intercontinental de la Ville Rome will close its doors.  News about its future is not available at this time, but we hope that a new and improved hotel will take its place.

Carnival in Venice
Again, the Carnival of Venice, steeped in history and tradition, did not disappoint this year.  The annual festival was held from 23 January to 9 February and featured the elaborate and historical costumes for which Venice is known.                             
Easter is Coming
Following Carnival in Venice, Italy is excited for Easter in the Jubilee Year.  It is a year of celebration in Italy, and Easter week is certainly a highlight.

Did you know? Easter Sunday is usually spent with family, while Easter Monday, or “Pasquetta,” is spent with friends.
