 The newest Iowa member to be named to the prestigious group of Fuller Award recipients is Tim Wilson, Director of Water Production with the Marshalltown Water Works. Tim has been a member of AWWA for nearly 20 years and has served the organization in numerous capacities.

Lyle Hammes Receives Outstanding Service to Iowa Section Award

 

At the recent Iowa Section annual conference Lyle Hammes was awarded the Section's Outstanding Service to the Iowa Section award. Lyle is with the Water and Pollution Control department for the City of Ames. John Dunn is director of the Department and took the opportunity to present Lyle with the award.  READ MORE...

Outstanding Service to Industry Award

 

Dale Watson, PE was named the recipient of the Iowa Section's Outstanding Service to the Iowa Drinking Water Industry. The award was presented at the Section's annual conference.  READ MORE... 

  

NEWTON Wins Best Tasting Water in Iowa...

The Newton WaterWorks won the Best Tasting Water in Iowa award at the 99th Iowa Section of the American Water Works Association conference at the Prairie Meadows Hotel in Altoona. The competition held in Altoona received samples from Iowa cities and were ranked by an impartial panel of judges in a blind taste test. The judges compared the water on odor, taste, aftertaste, and overall general appearance. The award was presented to Marty Hoffert, Field Services Director for the Newton WaterWorks.  READ MORE...
