I am pleased to welcome you to the premiere newsletter for "It's Your Call with Lynn Doyle." Your ongoing support is the greatest reward for my hard work and I am grateful for your friendship.

My mission for this letter is to share with you personally the various programming and community events I am supporting throughout the year and I invite you to share with me how the show impacts your life.

It was an exciting summer for me and my staff and I hope you will enjoy this special insider's look at our multi Emmy award-winning program, topical guests and thought-provoking dialogues of interest to you!

Best wishes for a new season and please continue to follow me on Facebook and Twitter or online at LynnDoyle.net.

REMEMBERING 9/11

I invite you to join me in reflection and memory of the thousands of viewers whose lives were forever impacted by the tragic events of September 11 during several special shows we have produced to acknowledge the 10th anniversary.

First, we return to LIVE TV for the first time in several years as part of the Comcast Network's "9/11-Then and Now" programming. You can once again call in with your thoughts and opinions LIVE on Sunday, September 11 at 8 PM, ET on Comcast channels 8 and 201 or FIOS Channel 99. We will revisit the past decade of recovery featuring interviews with the special guests who played an important part in our programming since 2001.

Secondly, I have also hosted a special program for Retirement Living Television honoring the heroes of Flight 93. It tells the story of what really happened on board that doomed flight and honors the men and women who stopped the country from suffering even further destruction. A special preview is available Saturday, September 10 at 9 PM, ET and will air again Sunday, September 11 at 9 PM, ET on RLTV, Channel 175 on most cable systems.

In addition, "It's Your Call" , "Honoring Flight 93" and "Honoring Flight 93 Live from Washington, D.C." will air on Retirement Living Television each night through Saturday, September 17 at 11 PM, ET.

In covering this historical event, my husband Mike and I have established lifelong friendships with those who lost loved ones and helped raise more than $40K for a memorial called "The Garden of Reflection" based in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where I will join thousands of others in honoring the memories of those who died. Thank you for your ongoing support of this endeavor.

BROADCAST INDUSTRY AWARDS
Emmy Award

As we enter our 15th season of  "It's Your Call" we are pleased to announce that the show and staff continue to receive the recognition of our industry peers through various awards programs hosted by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS), The Associated Press and CableFax.

This summer, the program received three Emmy award nominations from the mid-Atlantic chapter of NATAS for excellence in the "Best Show" and "Best Series" categories. The black tie awards gala is Saturday, September 24, so wish us luck that we'll bring home some more statues to add to our collection!

In addition, the Pennsylvania Associated Press Broadcasters Association awarded "It's Your Call" first place for best talk show and named it runner up in the public affairs category. CableFax also just announced its nominations for  Best Actor/Actress/Host Talk Shows and I am honored to have been included among the finalists. Those awards are presented in October. I am humbled and greatly appreciative of this recognition.

GIVING BACK
Pink Ribbon

As you know, community involvement is imperative to me and I am dedicated to raising funds and awareness for various charities including breast cancer, domestic abuse, women and girls advocacy and more. This fall I will be working on several initiatives within my hometown to encourage and promote women empowerment through organizations called Mommy's Light and the Bucks County Women's Initiative's Power of the Purse.

For more information on how to help please visit my Web site at LynnDoyle.net

I am also pleased to share that I will be walking in my fourth 3-Day Walk for Breast Cancer which has become a hallmark of "It's Your Call" special programming initiatives. I look forward to sharing more news on this annual event in the October newsletter honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

STAY TUNED

We are pleased to announce that "It's Your Call" will now be seen nightly on Retirement Living TV at 7 PM, ET starting Monday, September 26. This is a great channel for baby boomers, so it's a great fit for us! Please watch in addition to our Sunday/Monday premieres on The Comcast Network.

The autumn season and onset of the holidays are my favorite times of the year and I have so much to share with you as we prepare for our celebrations with family and friends. On the Doyle home front we have a lot to be thankful for as my youngest daughter Stefanie prepares to marry my former "It's Your Call" special projects producer Matt Stafford and my twin grandsons grow before my very eyes under the loving tutelage of my daughter Jennifer.

We are also pleased to share the news of the birth of twin daughters to our former "It's Your Call" associate producers Steve and Mary Szychulski. Congratulations! As always, if you have comments, opinions or ideas for the show, please let us know. Contact me through my website at LynnDoyle.net.
Sincerely, Lynn Doyle
