 YOUTH SUNDAY

Pope Shenouda III of Alexandria once said, "a church without Youth is a Church without a future. Moreover, Youth without a Church is Youth without a future." These words may seem grim and depressing, luckily these words do not apply to Marietta FUMC. They don't apply because our youth have a church, this church, that loves them and supports them. This morning you are able to see what worship means to the youth of our church, how   scripture is shaping their lives and their thankfulness for you as their faith community. Pope Shenouda is right in his statement! Our church would   have no future without our Youth but I would push a little further and say     our youth isn't just the future but the PRESENT! The students here at Marietta FUMC have profound thoughts about faith, challenging questions about life, and are serving in huge ways that will have lasting impacts on   our church and community!
