I hope this finds you happy and well.
It continues to be a smoking hot summer on all fronts: creatively, travel wise and business too. Counting my lucky stars and feeling deeply grateful.
The Bellevue Arts Museum Artsfair (July 29-31) brought great sales delightfully brisk temperature and notorious fun. My donation to the Museum's gala auction started a bidding war! Yes, the beautiful 42 x 28 floater framed Orotone series artwork was valued at $1900 but sold at the Super Silent Auction for $2850! So happy to have contributed so successfully to the Museum's premier fund raising event.
Next was the Park City Kimball Arts Festival in beautiful cool Park City, Utah. Many good connections were started and reinforced. A delightful young lady recognized my name, said she loved my art and had commissioned work from me while at a prominent east coast art consultancy firm. She'd just launched her own company and wanted to pitch my work for a new 1000 room resort!
So happy to be fully engaged making new art for the fabulous Port Clinton Art Festival, Highland Park, IL (August 27 & 28) followed immediately by the 59th Sausalito Art Festival, Sausalito, CA (September 3, 4 & 5).

Brand new from a treasure trove of images made at Mojave National Preserve on the way home to Sky Valley from Park City. The gold metallic under painting and the incredible detail imbue the artwork with an astonishing luminescence and rich texture. I'm donating one of these beauties to the Sausalito Art Festival auction! |

I saw it in person for the first time while in the area for the Kimball Park City Art Festival weekend before last. This large scale artwork is promanently installed immediately adjacent to the Reception area! |
