Ossining Farm's Market moves outside April 22 to participate in Green Ossining Earth Day Festival. Then back to Market Square April 29th.
New member Westchester Collaborative Theater (WCT) will host a Community Open House to introduce its new performance space at 23 Water Street - Ossining....Saturday, April 8th 11am-2pm. Visitors are invited to hear talks about the history and future plans of WCT and the performance space and to participate in sample theater art classes that will be offered at the venue later this spring. The Performance Space will remain open to the public until 2:00pm for anyone wishing to stop by for information. A final Open House will take place on Saturday, May 13th. www.wctheater.org

. The Cedar Lane Arts Center (formerly known as Shine House) has been beautifully renovated to serve as another asset to the burgeoning art scene in Ossining.
The new arts center is located in Cedar Lane Park on Cedar Lane in Ossining adjacent to the Ossining Organic Community Garden. The theme for the show is The Natural Environment - the natural environment encompasses all living and non-living things occurring naturally. The term is most often applied to the Earth or some part of Earth. Please contact OAC for additional information.

Earth Day Festival

at Louis Engel Waterfront Park from 11am - 4pm. The Festival has grown from roughly 300 attendees in its first year with an expectation to surpass last year's nearly 4,000 attendees. Join some 80 vendors and the Greater Ossining community in our annual celebration of Earth Day. This year, as we celebrate the 47th Anniversary of Earth Day, we will focus our theme on food sustainability, including such issues as food waste, cooking and food preservation, nutrition, edible gardens, backyard food and permaculture, and access to food.
