Justin Berkowitz (2013 Encouragement Award)
  
Justin is currently making his debut with St. Petersburg Opera in their production of West Side Story singing the role of Snowboy and covering and performing the role of Tony for outreach performances.  Their production runs through July 6.  He will perform the tenor solo in Carmina Burana with the Northwestern University Summer Concert Series on July 22 in Evanston.   
Jamie-Rose Guarrine (2005 District Winner)
  
Jamie-Rose will be singing the Mozart Requiem and Bach's Cantata No. 26 in concert with the Lake Chelan Bach Festival, in Lake Chelan, Washington July 14-20. She will also be returning to Madison Opera for Opera in the Park, Saturday July 27th in Garner Park 8pm.   
Alisa Suzanne Jordheim (2011 and 2012 District Winner)

  

Alisa recently completed her residency at the University of Oslo in Norway where she was a Fulbright Scholar and Fellow of the American Scandinavian Foundation studying Scandinavian song and diction. In other recent news, Alisa is thrilled to have joined the roster of Guy Barzilay Artists (www.guybarzilayartists.com/Alisa-Jordheim). This July, Alisa will be performing the role of Satirino in La Calisto by Cavalli with Cincinnati Opera. Performance dates are July 17, 20, 23, 25 (all at 7:30 PM), and July 27 (at 3:00 PM). John M. Koch (District and Regional Winner)
 

John K. Koch is Artistic Director of the Midwest Institute of Opera, now in their 4th season doing Carmen.  Past seasons have included Die Zauberfloete, Don Giovanni, Le nozze di Figaro, Aida, Suor Angelica and Pirates of Penzance.  Their mission is to give young emerging artists the opportunity to perform a complete operatic role in its original language.  For more info, go to:  midwestinstituteofopera.org
John is also Vocal Area Coordinator and General Director of the Illinois Festival Opera at Illinois State University.   

Gregory Schmidt (National Finalist 1994)
 

Gregory will sing the role of the Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto with Crested Butte Music Festival, Crested Butte, CO.  July 23rd, 25th and 27th.
