Robert Lighthizer, Trump's nominee for U.S. Trade Representative, has vowed to end the softwood lumber dispute between the U.S. and Canada, "whether by cutting a deal or fighting it out in trade court," Adrian Morrow and Sunny Dhillon report for the Canadian news outlet Globe and Mail.

Retail Sales Show Big Bump for LBM Dealers in February...
Overall retail sales for the entire U.S. economy saw lackluster movement between January and February - only budging ahead 0.1%. However, LBM dealers outperformed most other categories on a year-over-year basis.
