Robert Lighthizer, Trump's nominee for U.S. Trade Representative, has vowed to end the softwood lumber dispute between the U.S. and Canada, "whether by cutting a deal or fighting it out in trade court," Adrian Morrow and Sunny Dhillon report for the Canadian news outlet Globe and Mail.   Read more .

Retail Sales Show Big Bump for LBM Dealers in February...
Overall retail sales for the entire U.S. economy saw lackluster movement between January and February - only budging ahead 0.1%. However, LBM dealers outperformed most other categories on a year-over-year basis.  Read more .
