Last year, I had the honor of working closely with a wonderful group of talented women. We were able to raise $21,000 dollars as a team.
Not only was it successful, it was fun!! We hold most of our meetings either at my home or at a local restaurant and enjoy dinner together while sharing all of our wonderful ideas.
Because of the many connections our group had last year we were able to have many of our auction supplies donated. Thus, saving the league money and in return putting more towards league expenses.
I understand that we all work. We all have busy lives and joining a board is probably the last thing you want to do. By helping on the fundraising committee you are not asked to be a board member. We only ask that you be willing to donate a bit of time towards planning our seasons fundraisers.
Because of the many compliments and financial success of our auction and flower basket sales, that is our focus, as of now. If you have any other ideas we would love to hear them.
Last year, for our auction, we were able to designate a task to each person. This made it easy on each and every one of us.
