NABCEP has been hard at work developing two new certification options for PV System Inspector (PVSI) and Solar Heating System Inspector (SHSI) Certifications.
NABCEP PV and Solar Heating System Inspector certifications are primarily intended for individuals performing system inspections for Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ's), utilities, incentive programs, investors and others performing quality assurance of
photovoltaic
(PV) and solar heating system quality assurance and code compliance. NABCEP System Inspectors will be tested in the following areas: Inspecting Electrical Components and Systems; Inspecting Energy Storage Components and Systems; Inspecting Mechanical/Structural Components and Systems; and Documentation for the System Inspection.

The 7th Annual NABCEP Continuing Education Conference will be held at the Conference & Event Center in Niagara Falls, NY. This event will take place March 19-22, 2018.
This conference is primarily intended for NABCEP Certified Professionals who need continuing education credits in order to maintain their certification. The content presented in this conference is geared toward seasoned PV industry professionals who have several years of installation and/or technical sales experience. This is the ideal opportunity for NABCEP Certified PV Installation Professionals and PV Technical Sales Professionals to obtain all of the continuing education credits needed for recertification. Non-certified professionals can earn up to 18 hours toward certification eligibility.
