Change is in the air... Fall has arrived in New England. It remains to be seen what changes may still happen to the ACA. NEEBC has introduced a number of changes as well!
In response to member requests, we've
streamlined our communications.
We recently
upgraded our membership/website software. As with most upgrades, there were a few bumps along the way, but there are many more enhancements!
Our
new website went live on October 24th! We hope you noticed the new look and feel of the website, including the home page, registration forms, calendar pages, renewal notices, etc. The new software provides you a more user friendly and streamlined experience as well.
On November 13th, we introduced the
Monday Digest email which also has an improved look and feel. Each
Monday Digest email will summarize upcoming events and replace individual "reminder" and "last chance" emails for each event. It will not replace the initial email announcing a new event. The other exceptions include:
• Special emails about our 4 major annual events:
- Health Insurance Market Outlook
- Employee Benefits Summit and Trade Show
- Washington Update
- Best Practices Conference
• Renewal Notices, Reminders, Registration Confirmation Emails.
• NEEBC Newsletter via Constant Contact (3 times per year).
Finally, most renewal invoices are now automated; we've added a
searchable member directory (once logged in, NEEBC members can search the member directory by company name, geography, proximity, titles, etc.); and more improvements are planned!
One final change I'd like to mention. Our annual corporate partners are growing! I am pleased to welcome our
new 2018 Silver Annual Corporate Partner Merck, a premier, research-intensive biopharmaceutical company.
