32nd Annual Christmas Festival:
The 32nd Annual Christmas Festival will take place on Friday & Saturday, December 12th & 13th in Downtown Bay Minette surrounding Blackburn Park. The Annual Christmas Fest is a longstanding tradition complete with a Christmas Tree Lighting, Live Entertainment, Arts & Crafts, Good Food, an Art Contest and culminating on Saturday afternoon with the Annual Christmas Parade! Fire Prevention Tips for a Safe and Festive Holiday Season

Decorating homes and businesses is a long-standing tradition during the holiday season. Unfortunately, these deco-rations increase the chance of fire. According to Bay Minette Fire Department (BMFD), a few simple holiday fire safety tips can ensure your Merry Christmas!



North Baldwin Infirmary to Host Annual Tree Lighting:
The North Baldwin Express Christmas Tree Lighting will be held at the North Baldwin Infirmary on Thursday, December 4th from 5-7pm. Get on board the North Baldwin Express at the North Baldwin Fitness Center depot and enjoy an evening of fun for the whole
family as you travel through the North Baldwin Infirmary campus:
* Visit Santa 
* Enjoy food and hot drinks
* Make Reindeer food 
* Register for prizes and giveaways
* Visit special booths 
* Sing along with Christmas choirs
The evening culminates with the Lighting of the Tree ceremony at 6:45 p.m.

Faulkner State to hold Christmas on the Coast Concert:
Christmas on the Coast presented by the Faulkner State Community College Division of Fine Arts will be performing "Santa's Christmas Tree," a musical for children by Beverly Weiler on Friday, December 5th at 7pm in the L. D. Owen Performing Arts Center on Faulkner's Bay Minette Campus. Admission is FREE but a donation for "Toys for Tots" is appreciated.


Christmas in Perdido:
The 10th Annual Christmas in Perdido will take place on Saturday, December 6th from 8am-2pm in the Perdido School Gym.

A variety of venders will be on hand such as 31 Gifts, Origami Owl, Scentsy, and more.  Many of the items have been monogramed and handcrafted. There will also be yard decor, jewelry, wreaths, Christmas ornaments, original watercolor paintings, and much much more. 


 

Food & Drinks are available for purchase all day provided by Perdido Alumni and Beta Club. 

 

 

Breakfast with Santa will be served from 8 to 10 in the cafeteria.  Don't forget to bring your camera!  There will also be the Scholastic Book Fair available in the lobby of the gym for your shopping convenience.  Bring your Christmas List and check it twice!

IMPACT Youth Presents 'The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe':

Derailed Diner's Polar Express Event:
Bring the kids for Derailed Diner's FREE Third Annual Polar Express Event!
For four magical nights our dining car will be transformed into the train car from the beloved children's book,
"The Polar Express." The event takes place at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, December 10th-13th, 2014. The Polar Express is a FREE
event but reservations are required.

Children will receive a golden "Believe" ticket punched by the Polar Express train conductor as they enter the train car singing the "Hot Chocolate" song. All attending (even you adults) will be served hot chocolate and cookies after the professional performance and sing-along from the beloved children's book-- a beautiful story about losing faith and getting it back again. Each child will be gifted a magic jingle bell to wish upon just as they do in the story. Sorry, no adults allowed on the train,but you can peek through the windows if
you are good.
