A WORD FROM OUR PASTOR

In the August 24 newsletter I stated that we are in serious need of a pre-school Sunday school class that would meet at the same time as our youth class each Sunday for about an hour beginning at 9:15 a.m.

We are grateful that one person has come forward to help with this class.
However, we still need additional volunteers.

If you are not involved in the choir and you feels that you have the skills to work with young children, I would urge you to pray about this and let me or Barb know if God is putting this on your heart. Also, if you are not able to commit to teaching every Sunday or even for a long period of time, please let one of us know that, too. Any offer of help would be greatly appreciated!

Blessings and Peace,
Pastor Rich

Can you spare an hour a month for
CANTON HEALTH CARE?

Northminster has ministered at Canton Health Care Center for many years on the third Tuesday of each month from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.

It has just come to our attention that another section of the facility would greatly enjoy and benefit from this ministry as well. However, in order to facilitate this we need more help.

Two teams of 5 MEN or WOMEN would be ideal.

If you are willing to join us in this endeavor, please contact one of these women: Margaret Bischoff, Elaine Clark, Linda McGinnis, Marion Morgan, Marsha Mossgrove, Joanne Sogan, Micki Williams.

You can carpool by meeting at the church at 1:40 or go directly to Canton Health Care and meet the team there by 2:00 p.m. Whatever works best for you.
