As the air is turning crisp in central Ohio our thougths are returning to learning, teaching and adapting to change we all are accustom to this time of year. The OAACE organization is hard at work preparing another outstanding Spring 2012 conference for all to take part in. Advocacy efforts are continuing and OAACE is now on facebook! We encourage you to stay in contact with your OAACE regional directors and renew your membership for this year.

Why join OAACE?
Did you know that in 2011 OAACE awarded a total of $4,000 in scholarships to adult students who are continuing their education? Public awarness grants were also awarded to several different ABLE programs to build awarness of what they do.
Scholarships and awards are one of the many benefits of becoming an OAACE member. The deadline for the Fall Public Awarness grant is October 31, 2011. Check the OAACE website for more details concerning scholarships and awards.
