The Epiphany of the Lord

Epiphany Sunday commemorates the visit of the Magi to the Christ Child.

Awakening Faith provides six sessions on elements of our Catholic faith, with opportunities for conversation and sharing. The sessions explore spirituality, discover Jesus, and discern the Holy Spirit. Relevant topics include finding forgiveness, heightened engagement of the Mass and personal reflections on the Church.

in the Parish Center Library. 
 

Resources for our challenge to  Know Jesus, Know His Word, and Know our Faith by reading the Bible and Catechism in a year,  will be available for purchase this weekend in the Parish Hall after Mass. Bibles are $20 and Catechisms are $15.

Knights of Columbus Breakfast
Sunday, January 8, 7:30-11:00 AM

Make your way after Mass to the Parish Hall for quiche, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, biscuits and gravy, french toast and pancakes, and coffee! Adults - $8.00, Kids 7 to 12 - $5.00 with kids under 7 free, and Families are $22.00. All proceeds go to charity!


Blood Pressure Clinic will be open in the Parish Hall after the morning Masses. The nurses that staff the clinic monitor people's blood pressure and are available to discuss individual health concerns. All communication is confidential. 
This is a drop-in clinic, no appointment necessary.

Sunday, January 22, after the 11:00 AM Mass

Anyone with the following conditions may be anointed:
  • chronic conditions
  • physical or mental illness
  • the elderly (dealing with daily aches and pains)
  • anyone anticipating major surgery or procedure

Consider inviting someone who can benefit from this sacrament to attend Mass with you that day. For questions, please contact Fr. Gregg Bronsema at the church office.
