Coalition pushes for Medicaid expansion on statewide ballot
A coalition of healthcare providers, businesses, religious organizations and other advocates for uninsured Ohioans announced a campaign to send a proposal to extend Medicaid coverage to the ballot in November 2014.

In response, Speaker Batchelder's spokesman Mike Dittoe said, "The speaker and legislators have been working diligently throughout the summer months on the issues surrounding Medicaid. As [the Speaker] has said previously, I would expect action on Medicaid legislation in 2013."
