OHIO HUMANITIES AWARDED GRANT FOR EDUCATIONAL HERITAGE TRAVEL WEBSITE


THE SIX-FIGURE GRANT FROM THE NATIONAL ENDOWMENT 
WILL TRANSFORM HERITAGE TRAVEL IN OHIO

In granting the award, the National Endowment for the Humanities Division of Public Programs commended the project for showcasing the humanities to stimulate the educational potential of travel.  



APPLICATIONS NOW AVAILABLE FOR OHIO CHAUTAUQUA 2017: THE NATURAL WORLD 

The Ohio Chautauqua 2017: The Natural World program tour will feature stories of historic figures, such as Teddy Roosevelt, Marie Curie, and Chief Cornstalk, whose life work helps frame the stories of Ohioans and their relationship to the natural world.

Ohio Humanities is pleased to announce Michael Straughter as its new Outreach Coordinator. Straughter replaces Mark Holbrook who has been appointed as executive director of the Marion Area Convention and Visitors Bureau.
