Congratulations to fifth grader Monica Yochim, winner of the OLP Spelling Bee!










Congratulations also goes out to our Challenge 24 team members Andrew Kolodychak, Michael Vereb, and Graydon Brugger, who won Silver Medals at the competition yesterday! 
 

We are very proud of all of the 4th through 6th graders who participated in the Spelling Bee and the 4th through 8th graders who were part of the Challenge 24 team.

OLP Night at Chuck E Cheese
 
Let's Turn Fun Into Funds!

Chuck E. Cheese donates 15% of the sales generated from this event to your child's school. Friends and family members are encouraged to help support this event.
 
This year if OLP raises $3,000, Chuck E. Cheese's will  proudly donate 20%   of that amount to your school or organization, instead of 15%.
 
The Event takes place on Thursday April 27, 2017, from 3:00p.m. to 9:00p.m.
at Chuck E. Cheese in the Summit Town Center

OLP Golf Team

The OLP golf team is open to students in grades 5 through 8.
 
Practices will begin in late April at J.C. Martin.   More details to come in the next few weeks regarding practice and match schedules.  If you have a student interested in playing, please contact Steve Erhartic at [email protected] or 814-464-4106.

We are off and RUNNING!
We have a great turnout this year, over 70 Crusaders!
 
Please note, we will not be accepting any more sign-ups or paper work after practice
April 26th!  You must have all of your forms and payment in 4/26/17.  THANK YOU! 
 
Practice Schedule
At OLP in the gym for the following dates : Wednesday... April 26 th, May 3 rd, May 10 th (tentative) and May 17 th
For grades 1-4, we will be in the gym from 5:00-5:45.
For grades 5-8, we will go 5:45-6:30.
 
Practice will be held Sundays at the Behrend Track from 2-4pm.  No practice on Mother's Day.

for those of you who don't have FB.
 
MEET DATES:
Little Lions Track and Field Classic 
Monday May 8 th @ Behrend, starting at 4 pm for grades 1-4, 6 pm for grades 5-8
 
Rambler-Victor Track and Field Classic
Friday May 19 th at the Prep Even Center, starting at 4 pm for grades 1-4, 6 pm for grades 5-8
 
6 th Annual Track and Field Championships
Tuesday May 30 th,  starting at 4:30 pm for grades 1-4, 6:30 pm for grades 5-8
 
Starting times for grades 5-8 are estimated.
Events, sign-ups, cost to participate etc will be relayed to parents at practice.

Family Honor Program
                    
OLP hosts the Family Honor Program "Leading & Loving."
The program is designed to assist parents of young children (birth to 5 th grade) and those who work with young children, in the formation of faith, values, and virtues. The day consists of six sessions that will give participants valuable tools for helping their children navigate through the world in which we live.
