Mary's Day
Friday, May 5, 2017

All are welcome to join the OLP School community as the Class of 2017 honor Mary, the Mother of God.  This devotional prayer service begins at 2:00 p.m. in the OLP Church.
8th Graders & Parents
Dear Parents,

Five quick points regarding Mary's Day and graduation:

1.) We did not receive enough volunteer response regarding the clean up for OLP. I know in the past it has been mandatory for every family to stay and clean up. EVERY family please plan to stay to clean up after the graduation dance. Many hands make for light work- it should go quickly if everyone pitches in. Thanks in advance!

2.) A note will be going out regarding lunch after the morning liturgy. This is not an organized part of graduation, but a lot of the parents stated they will be going out to lunch with their kids- the invite is open and more info will come once they have a location.

3.) Anyone who is interested in bowling after the graduation dance: lanes are reserved for OLP June 5, from 11:30pm until 1:30 am. Interested families will provide their own transportation and the cost is $7.00

4.) We are still in need of white Christmas lights. If you have any, please contact Amy Beuchel at  buechelfamily@yahoo.com . They will just be used for the dance.

5.) Mary's Day is this Friday, May 5, 2017.   Our official class photo will be taken as well at 11:50 on the OLP gym steps, weather permitting. If not, they will be taken inside.
Thank you all for pitching in to make this a great experience for the kids!

  Honoring our Teachers
Three of our teachers were honored for celebrating hallmark years in the Diocese at the annual diocesan Teacher Appreciation Dinner on Friday, April 28, 2017.  Mrs. Maria Ehrman for teaching in the Diocese for 20 years, Mrs. Pamela Madara for 25 years, and Miss Susan Turowski for 45 years.  We appreciate all of the years and dedication these teachers (and all of our teachers) have given to our students.
