Greetings!

Welcome to the Positive Exposure Newsletter! We're excited to tell you about the different projects we've been working on and to feature some of our incredible partners. Thank you for all of the support you have sent our way. We hope you are having an amazing New Year!

2013 is Positive Exposure's 15th anniversary!

In 1998,  the
LIFE
magazine article, "Redefining Beauty," hit the newsstands, launching Positive Exposure
officially!!! We are planning a big bash in NYC and online to celebrate our anniversary this spring, so stay tuned for details!

Best wishes and big hugs,

Rick and the Positive Exposure Team

The Beauty of Every Child: UJA-Federation of New York Explores Positive Exposure's PEARLS Project

Positive Exposure paired up

with the UJA-Federation of New York to launch a PEARLS Project in the New York metropolitan area. Thanks to support from the Oppenheimer-Haas Foundation, the project enabled young people living with genetic, physical, cognitive and/or behavioral differences, from 10 UJA-affiliated agencies, to experience a photo shoot and blog about life from their perspective. These blogs were intended to provide peer audiences with a closer look at life with a disability while sparking conversations about the types of similarities and unique differences we all share. Click here to read more...

Hunter Sample
Hunter In Focus: PE and Shire team up to spread global awareness about Hunter syndrome

Shire Pharmaceuticals and Positive Exposure worked together to create a photo exhibit featuring the lives of nine different individuals with Hunter Syndrome.
