TALENT PROFILE: DR. FASIH HAMEED
Dr. Fasih Hameed, Petaluma Health Center's Associate Medical Director, Integrative Medicine
Dr. Fasih Hameed originally landed in Petaluma because it was halfway between his residency in Santa Rosa and his wife's job in Novato. When it came time to start his practice, he chose to stay, becoming Petaluma Health Center's Associate Director of Integrative Medicine. INCENTIVES & REIMBURSEMENT PROGRAMS

There are a number of tax credit and workforce reimbursement programs available to businesses. Labcon, Revive, Solairus Aviation and other Petaluma companies have received these credits, saving  millions of dollars. BUSINESSES CHANGE NAMES TO REFLECT ROOTS 
Two Petaluma-based companies have changed their names to reflect their Sonoma County roots.

In December 2016, Oculus IS became Sonoma Pharmaceuticals. This change coincided with other shifts in the company, including the sale of its Latin American business and the expansion of its animal care division. More recently, local dairy producer Clover Stornetta became  Clover Sonoma . The change was part of a branding initiative designed to help the company expand into markets outside the Bay Area. Also included in this effort were a refreshed logo, new product packaging, and ads that play on Clover's Wine Country roots.
