Michael De Jesus
|
Michael DeJesus is a teenager who has truly given his life over to the Lord, and is now committed to reaching others for Christ.
"My parents have served in ministry with Frontline for many years, and this is where I grew up. My life has been simple, but I've been raised in a Christian family, where I have seen my parents serve with others in a ministry that reaches out to people in need. I have always attended Frontline Christian Academy where my Mother is one of the teachers, and I'm now in my senior year of high school.
Mike says he has had a decent relationship with parents who loved and gave him guidance. Still, many times he struggled with his attitude, and behaved "like a spoiled brat," shouting at his brothers and hitting them.

Michael share Gospel to others
|
"At one time not long ago, it seems I suddenly recognized the passion that Frontline Ministry has for reaching people, and helping them know the Lord. This had a big impact on me. It was at that time I felt God moving in my life, and I accepted Christ as my own Lord and Savior. From that point on my life changed. I learned how to love my brothers properly, and to seek out God's plan and purpose for me.
"Frontline has deeply impacted me. God used this ministry for me to know that there is a perfect plan for my life. Without them I think I would be in the same state as most other young people I see today, wasting their time and energy on meaningless or sinful things. I hope someday I can bring them to the Lord also, because it saddens my heart to see them living without purpose."

Michael's talent from God
|
In 2010 Michael was invited to be trained and mentored in youth ministry at Frontline Worship Center, where he now serves on the youth leadership team. In just the past couple of years many have noted the developments and changes in Michael, especially how he communicates and interacts with other young people.
"Because of this new role in ministry, my faith and relationship with God continues to grow. I've learned how important it is to read the Word of God daily, and put it into practice. My passion now is to serve God with my skills and talents. I play musical instruments, and am on the worship team. But I also want to use my knowledge and strength to serve the Lord in many other ways."
To all who are staff or partners with Frontline, Michael is another reminder that sometimes we just don't see all that God is doing. As we serve, pray, and give, we can all be reminded that our investment and labors are not just for today; but will pass through even to the next generations!
