News from RUNOHIO, July 2018
Track & Field - June was a busy month for track & field.  
A number of outstanding performances were turned in at the 111th Boys and 44th Girls Ohio High School Athletic Association Track & Field Championships Congratulations to everyone who competed. 

The USATF Championships was held and a number of Ohio athletes turned in outstanding performances, including Clayton Murphy who won the gold in the 800 - 1:46.50, Erik Kynard 2nd high jump - 7-05.75, Christina Manning 2nd in 100 hurdles - 12.65, Katie Nageotte 2nd pole vault - 15-05.00.

Hot Weather Running

Jeff McGowan Memorial 5K
Join RUNOHIO and Columbus Running Company on August 12th and run through Scioto Audubon Metro Park and along the Scioto River in this fifth annual event in memory of Jeff McGowan.
Circleville Trio of Races

On the Run with Matt McGowan
According to the 2016-17 High School Athletics Participation Survey conducted by the National Federation of State High School Associations. Girls outdoor Track and Field for the ninth year in a row is the number one sport offering with high school girls with 494,477 participants.

RUNOHIO was again a presenting sponsor of the 41st annual HOKA One One Columbus 10K.
Bob Lennon Memorial 5K/10K - Sunday, July 22nd

The McGowan Family Track
Circleville City Schools recognized and thanked the McGowan family for their generous donation to the track facilities at the CHS Track Invitational last month. In honor of their continued support, the facility will now be known as The McGowan Family Track.
