Barrett began his career in the wine industry in 2006. Upon receiving his Bachelor's degree in Business from Chapman University, his goal was to pursue a career in the wine industry. At a young age he developed a palate and a passion for wine and has always enjoyed the social and communal aspect that goes along with the wine business.
 
He moved to the Napa Valley from Orange County and completed the Certified Wine Professional program at the Culinary Institute of America before joining Cakebread Cellars about 5 years ago and loves every minute of it. He looks forward to enjoying the experiences and being a part of the wine culture for a long time to come.
