3 Basic Essential oils used as natural pain relievers:
Lavender The botanical name "Lavandula" comes from the Latin "lavare" meaning to wash. Lavender oil can be used as an antiseptic and pain reliever and can be applied to directly to the skin. Lavender oil has such a variety of practical uses and one area of special interest is the use of Lavender oil is for chronic pain patients who generally experience sleepless nights due to pain. A easy method for helping the pain patient to sleep is to take a cotton ball and drop a few drops of essential lavender oil onto the cotton ball and insert it between the pillowcase and the pillow.
Peppermint Mentha peperita essential oil has strong anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties and also assists in promoting blood flow to the affected areas. Great for headaches and muscle pain. On the emotional level, the aroma of peppermint oil will relax and refresh the mind as well as the body, helping to uplift the spirits and restore courage and mental focus. Peppermint oil is also known as an "Iatrogenic" oil, which means that peppermint oil can be both a stimulant and a sedative depending on what the body needs.
Citrus sinensis essential oil is well known as an anti-depressant an overall mood enhancer. It is used to calm the anxious or nervous mind while simultaneously energizing a melancholy mood.

- Do not use essential oils internally
- Keep out of reach of children
- Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes

- Do not use essential oils on infants, children, pregnant women, the elderly, or those with a serious health issues
- Store essential oils in cool dry place

Then I will send you a health assessment and waiver form to fill out.
Then I will review the form and put together some suggestions and set up a time to have our aromatherapy consultation over the phone.
Then we can talk on the phone, and follow up with emails, and I will mail your bottle of essential oil to you. A healthier you is just a phone call away.

| Featured Yoga Pose|
Lie on the floor near a wall and swing your legs up onto the wall so that your heels are on the wall and your hips are supported against the wall. If you have any low back discomfort, move your body back away from the wall so that only your heels are on the wall and your hips are now off the wall.
Lie back so that your head is lined up directly on top of your spine and you sense your spine from the crown of the head to the tailbone is in a straight line. Bend the knees slightly so that you are not "locking" out the kneecaps.
If you have any low back or neck pain, fold a yoga blanket or thick towel and place one under the low back and also under the neck.
If your low back feels like it is "buckling" and your low back is arching, bend both knees so that you can placeboth feet flat against the wall. You may need to slide yourself further away from the wall to create enough space for your low back to lie flat without arching it.
