While so many of you are back in the school mode again, I am remembering
back to the days when we had 3 kids in school. Our kitchen was the hub of our home for both entertaining and it was the landing place for each at the end of our work or school days. Does anyone ever come home without stopping in the kitchen first for something to eat? It's the place the dog slept, the backpacks ended up, the kids did homework or got help with homework as Chris made dinner and the place that laughter radiated from, though not during homework time! We didn't remodel our kitchen until after the kids were out of the house and now I think of how much less hectic our day to day lives might have been if we would have had the kitchen we have today.
The question that so many of us have when we're considering a change to our home is, "Will I get my "investment" back when I sell?". My response to that is that functional living space will always have value and a space that fits our needs while we live there, is something we never regret.
We're wishing you and your families all the best this school year. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you with your home. ~Mark

Edina Remodel
Pleasant's Foundation

This is how it begins! The owners of this Edina home wanted to remodel, while keeping the original footprint of their home. We will transform a small kitchen, dining room, screened porch and living room into a great room. Space will be reserved for the formal dining room that the homeowners don't want to give up. We will also be adding a new, enlarged garage with enough space for 2 cars and storage. The house will be completely re-sided, to finish off the project. We can't wait to show you the progress in the coming weeks!
Find Out More about this home remodel and others on our website. The "portfolio" section will walk you through many kitchen and bathroom remodeling photos as well as some additions, whole house remodels and a variety of other types of projects.

Thank you for a wonderful experience. I was a bit intimidated and overwhelmed when Chris and I started this, but he was so organized and patient that I quickly found myself enjoying each step of the process. In addition, he and all the craftsmen that I came in contact with took the time to fully answer any questions that I had. I know that there were people "behind the scenes" in the office who helped make my idea a reality, too. Thank you all for what you did.
