V icar General of Namibia returns to her seminary

Linea Haufiku , vicar general of Namibia, visited the seminary campus in March following her participation in the Commission on the Status of Women at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

Hope Benko to lead enrollment office


Dean and President Cynthia Briggs Kittredge has announced the hire of the Rev. Hope Benko to director of enrollment at Seminary of the Southwest effective June 1, 2016. Hope comes to the seminary from All Saints' Episcopal School in Fort Worth, Texas, where she has served as upper and middle school chaplain and religion teacher since 2011.

Rodriguez wins grant for Latino evangelism project

The Rev. Al Rodriguez
The  Evangelical Education Society (EES)  has awarded the Rev.  Al Rodriguez , interim director of the seminary's Hispanic Church Studies program, a grant for Latino evangelism. Rodriguez will develop training products to help congregations and dioceses reach second, third and fourth generation, U.S.-born Latinos.
