The Sherman Park Annual Home Repair and Restoration Resource Fair will be held:
9:00am to 12:00pm, Saturday, April 2, 2011 at St. Joe's Hospital,
5000 W. Chambers St. - Klieger Auditorium
You may qualify for window lead abatement or window replacement. Lead damages the nervous system and may cause learning disabilities and behavior problems in children. Long-term effects are juvenile delinquency and lower IQ. The Primary Prevention area has expanded. Homeowners living on a block with two or more vacant, foreclosed homes can apply for small a matching grant of up to $500.00 to do curb appeal improvements visible from the street.
