Reflection
My nephew's fly rod catch of a Muskie in northern Minnesota

Fargo, ND, is not your first thought for a summer destination spot.  It is, however, the place  where my nephew recently graduated high school, thus I was able to enjoy the vast expanse of the prairie and time with family over the Memorial Day weekend.  The time away was salutary, and I really do enjoy the family that I did not choose.  I find my parents and siblings endlessly interesting and wonderful human beings.   To read more, click here. . .

St. Francis
Prayer of St. Francis
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace,
Where there
is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is d
oubt, faith;
where there i
s despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy;

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
