A Message From Fr. Mike
 Dear Family and Friends,
Welcome to our first virtual newsletter for St. Luke's. This will be taking the place of announcements on Sunday morning. It's important that you read this newsletter so that you can stay up to date on the many activities and opportunities for service. I encourage you to forward it to family and friends who may be interested in whats going on here at the parish.
Advent is an exciting season of joyful expectation as we remember God breaking forth into our world and becoming one of us. The good news is that GOD IS WITH US! We need not be afraid and the Lord commands us to share this good news with all that we meet. In our society filled with commercialism and hype, let us not forget the real reason for the season. God came the for the broken, the lost, the least and the forgotten. I ask for you to find tangible ways to reach out to those around you with the love of Jesus. Think about attending the Reconciliation and Healing Service, and the Advent Eucharists. OR perhaps donating to the Christmas Gift Baskets or Project Angel Tree. Stock up on Your Holiday Goodies!!!
Sunday, Dec. 16th!
 St. Thomas will be holding their Nativity Bake Sale Sunday, December 16 (after church). They will be offering homemade boxed holiday cookies and a limited supply of their nut and poppy seed rolls. Stock up for your holiday gatherings!

Come Serve with Us! 
Put those gifts God has given you to good use! Below are Ministry Opportunities that we need help with! Not only will you bless us and those you assist, you will be a part in assisting the work of God's kingdom!
1.) Just Love Café :
The Just Love Cafe is in need of volunteers to bake and help in the café. Please see Bob or Betty Budyka if you can help.
2.) Christmas Eve Choir
There is still time to sign up for the Christmas Eve Choir! Fill out the cream sheet in your bulletin or call the office and leave a message for Jan Worrall.
