Sewing for Smiles

A pillow case sewing event to benefit ConKerr Cancer

Friday, February 17th during our regular open Sit and Sew and Saturday, February 18 from 1-4 (after the Modern Quilt Guild meeting) bring your sewing machine, extra kids fabric you have sitting around or pick up a precut kit and create a pillow case to brighten the hospital rooms of children who are patients in local cancer treatment centers. They get to keep the pillow cases and they mean a lot to them. Drop in and join us. We are also a drop off spot if you make them at home.

Ten Buck BOM
Our new, super fun block of the month will be starting on Saturday March 10. You must sign up and pay your ten dollars before the start.

But wait, you have choices! You can do a bright color combination or a neutral combination. You will not get to select specific fabric but you are welcome to substitute from your own stash if you choose!
