Spotlight On...Back To School!

"The future of teaching is in the hands of those who turn hope into an active virtue."  - Andy Hargreaves

Welcome back to the 2012-2013 school year! I can't decide what makes me more emotional, the end of the school year when classroom walls and halls are denuded of the standards-based student work displays and art that show our students talent, or the beginning of the new school year when students strut their oversize backpacks and new sneakers with pride.  Whether it's a pack of No. 2 pencils waiting to be sharpened or a new spiral bound notebook waiting for the first ICN entry, the new school year brings the promise of exciting adventures in learning.  The school year will be full of great days, good days and a few bad days.  Always remember as the video states below, "remain calm, all is well!"
