The summer is always an exciting time at the TVGoods office.  With all the industry events and tradeshows during these months, there are innovative products coming through our doors daily.  There is always a buzz around the Product Development Team, who has been working overtime to evaluate and jump start winning products and ideas.  Everyone is so excited to see the newest gadgets and gizmos. 

 

In addition, with the entire team back from the European Home Shopping Conference held in Stockholm, Sweden, we are gearing up for the biggest direct response tradeshow of the year, the 2011 ERA D2C Show in Las Vegas.  This is my favorite tradeshow, as you really get a snapshot of everyone in the industry.  I look forward to seeing you there!

TVGoods recently acquired AsSeenOnTV.com.

As you probably learned, TVGoods recently entered into an agreement with Seen On TV, LLC to purchase AsSeenOnTV.com and the toll-free number 866-AsSeenOnTV.  This strategic acquisition has been covered in media outlets across the board including Advertising Age, Direct Marketing News and Business News Daily.

 

AsSeenOnTV.com is a highly trafficked internet catalog of direct response products with over two million customers, 700,000 email registrants and hundreds of thousands of unique visitors each month.

The Combi Chef® is a unique four-in-one kitchen tool.

TVGoods has announced it has entered into an exclusive marketing agreement with worldwide rights for the distribution of the Combi Chef® 4-in-one, a high quality fruit and vegetable slicer.  The Combi Chef® is a BÖRNER Germany product.

 

Kevin Harrington was instrumental in launching the BÖRNER companycombi in 1986 when the V-Slicer, a successful BÖRNER Germany product, premiered.  It went on to become one of the largest selling kitchen utensils, selling over 10 million units.

 

The German-made Combi Chef® allows users to easily grate, slice, curl, and julienne fruits and vegetables.  A unique 'catch-all' bowl fits inside to catch all grated and sliced materials. The product features a solid stainless steel body and blades that cut in both directions.  It also comes with a safety holder guard to protect fingers while grating.

 

The Combi Chef®, as well as the infomercials, premiered on June 26, 2011 at the Electronic Retailing Association's European Home Shopping Conference in Stockholm, Sweden.
