Celebrating 50 years of action-packed service!

April 2016

Thanks for your support!

There are many ways for people to support Tempe Community Action Agency. One way is to make a donation via our website, for which we are always grateful. But there are other opportunities for you to invest in our community by supporting TCAA.
April 5 is Arizona Gives Day. This statewide single day of giving promotes the idea of coming together across the entire state to help favorite local charities. Of course we'd love for you to donate to TCAA on this special day, but what we'd love even more is
your help in spreading the word about our participation in this one-way effort. In the next five days, we'll post special
special AZ Gives messages on our social media sites and hope you will share them on your social networks.
Another way you can support TCAA is by lacing up your sneakers and joining us for the 2nd Annual I-HELP Walk/Run on Saturday, April 9. Bring
your friends, family, co-workers, even your dog and help raise money for Tempe's only homeless shelter program. If you are not able to be at the event but would still like to support I-HELP, please visit the event fundraising page to see how you can support the event, your favorite runner or your favorite team!

Thanks for your support of all kinds -- we couldn't help Tempe's most vulnerable without you!

Volunteer Appreciation Event
Thank You for Your Dedicated Service

Thank you to all of the amazing and dedicated volunteers who make TCAA's programs possible! We were so excited to be able to celebrate all of the accomplishments of our volunteers last night at our annual volunteer recognition event at the Escalante Community Garden.

TCAA was honored to award Rose Ellis (pictured left with Tempe Vice Mayor Corey Woods and TCAA Executive Director Bill Epps) as the recipient of the 2016 Dave Tally Award because of her dedicated hours to TCAA, which go above and beyond to serve our Tempe neighbors in need.

A special thank you to Chef Roy, Jan Nicpon and all of the staff who helped make this event possible.

Please visit our Facebook Page for more pictures from the night!
