You can't fulfill your Sunday obligation by attending Mass Christmas night, even if you can find a Mass then.
"Any Mass celebrated on the evening of Dec. 25 is the Mass of Christmas," Msgr. Robert K. Johnson, director of the diocesan Office for Divine Worship, says in a letter to priests. It is not a vigil Mass for the Feast of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, which is the next day.

Diocese finishes fiscal 2010 in the black
The Diocese of Worcester finished the 2010 fiscal year ending Aug. 31 with an overall operating gain of $161,293, according to the annual report released this week.
Bishop McManus said in a letter accompanying the report that those who manage the diocesan departments and agencies were, for the most part, able to operate with balanced budgets during the year.
He expressed his gratitude to "the generosity of all our parishioners and benefactors, without whom our Diocese could not flourish."

Tina Pellecchia has been collecting Nativity images for more than 40 years. Now 88, she's decided to seek room for them in the inn - a home other than her own. But not just any home.
Mrs. Pellecchia used her collection to evangelize. So she'd like to pass it on to a Christian artist, or an institution such as a parish or school, to carry on her ministry.
