Santana Benefit for Telehealth

Our benefit in Las Vegas raised over $200,000 for our Santana Telehealth Project.
Nearly 50 donors traveled from near and far to participate in an exclusive celebratory concert headlined by Carlos Santana at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay.
The Santana family's Milagro Foundation, together with the Foundation for the Children of the Californias (USFCC), earlier announced the SANTANA TELEHEALTH PROJECT, an extraordinary pilot program that will rely on the Hospital Infantil de las Californias to deliver preventive health education and specialized medical consults to the children of Autlán.
The miracle of telehealth is that though the Hospital Infantil de las Californias is located 1,500 miles away in Tijuana, the children and families of Autlán will be able to receive life-saving health care as if the doctors were next door.
Autlán is blessed to have its own guardian angel - music legend Carlos Santana - who was born and raised in Autlan, and holds the community close to his heart. In 2005, Carlos and his close friend and co-angel Dr. Martin Sandoval, created Tiopa Santuario de Luz, a community health clinic in Autlán. Together they have been seeking a means to bring world class healthcare to under served children and their families in Autlán and across Mexico's rural landscape. The partnership with Friends of the Children and Hospital Infantil in Tijuana will provide this opportunity!
