rstaff cannot assist callers because The Mississippi Bar has nothing to do with the regulation and reporting of CLE in Mississippi. Questions should be directed to the Mississippi Commission on Continuing Legal Education by calling 601-576-4622 or emailing Tracy Graves at tgraves@courts.ms.gov .The Commission on CLE web information is on the MS Supreme Court website and may be accessed at http://courts.ms.gov/cle_bccr/cle_bccr.html.

MVLP's "Legal Line" Now Allows Attorneys From Across Mississippi To Answer Calls

Attorneys who wish to staff MVLP's legal hotline, known as "Legal Line," can now do so from anywhere in the state.  Legal Line attorneys provide callers with free legal advice and agency referral information.  While participation on the Legal Line used to be limited to attorneys who practice in the Greater Jackson Metro Area, MVLP's staff is now able to forward Legal Line calls to attorneys who practice all over Mississippi.  MVLP is pleased to announce this possibility because now all Mississippi attorneys can volunteer without having to worry about incurring long distance charges or having to receive calls from Legal Line callers outside of the hotline's hours of operation.  Legal Line is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.  If you wish to volunteer on the Legal Line, please contact Pamela Burns at pburns@mymvlp.net or (601) 960-9577.
