Provider Delivered Care Management program expands to specialty physicians
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan is offering a new pay for performance program for certain specialty physicians. The Provider Delivered Care Management Specialist (PDCM-S) program provides specific specialists the opportunity to deliver reimbursable care management services beginning July 1, 2017. The specialties that can participate in this program include oncology, cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, endocrinology and palliative care.
The Physician Alliance is hosting a webinar on Tuesday, June 27 from 8-9am to provide an overview of this new program and eligibility requirements. Register with Fran Burley at firstname.lastname@example.org to receive webinar instructions.
Affiliate Partners program offers more discount options
The Physician Alliance's Physician Discount program is now the Affiliate Partners program, offering more options for preferred pricing and special offers on a variety of premium products and services.
TPA's Affiliate Partners program currently has 18 partners participating, providing services ranging from medical answering services to office supplies and solutions to collection services to cyber liability insurance. Two new partners are joining to offer medical malpractice insurance options and commercial real estate services.

Is your practice correctly using ADT alerts?
The Physician Alliance is hosting a special training on Wednesday, June 28 from 8-9:30am for admission, discharge and transfer (ADT) alerts in the Wellcentive disease registry.
Practices using Wellcentive through The Physician Alliance are encouraged to attend this training session to learn about ADT alerts in the disease registry. Incorporating Wellcentive ADT alerts in your practice will make it easier to identify patients needing outreach for transition of care visits.
