Free webinar on colorectal cancer screening best practices
Colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death when numbers for both men and women are combined. However, the death rate for this cancer has been dropping, thanks to the increase of regular colorectal cancer screenings.
Learn best practices and evidence-based recommendations at this free webinar on colorectal cancer screenings and how patient navigation can identify and address barriers to screenings. The webinar will be Tuesday, March 14 from 12-1pm.
Program Optimization is a performance recognition and improvement process designed and implemented by Value Partnerships at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. It was developed to ensure that all Physician Group Incentive Program (PGIP) physician organizations are engaged in PGIP programs and working to improve and deliver quality care to their patient population. The Program Optimization Scorecard identifies areas of opportunities for improvement. TPA showed a 27-point improvement over last year in Overall Performance and a 30-point increase in Overall Improvement. TPA achieved the maximum number of points in 4 of the 5 performance measures and 2 of the 3 improvement measures.
Upcoming risk adjustment and appropriate coding webinar
