TPA partners offer discounted PQRS reporting options

The  Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) is a voluntary reporting program developed by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. PQRS serves to promote the reporting of quality information by eligible professionals (EPs) through financial incentives. The program applies a negative payment adjustment to EPs and PQRS group practices who do not satisfactorily report data on quality measures for covered professional services. Those who report satisfactorily for the 2016 program year will avoid the 2018 PQRS negative payment adjustment.

If you are a private practice, it is your practice's responsibility to submit PQRS data (if you are an employed health system practice, contact your practice administrator)! Your electronic medical record vendor or registry vendor may be able to help support your submission process. If you are not submitting through an EMR or registry, make sure your biller is prepared and documenting your data. The Physician Alliance will not support any PQRS submission process. The submission deadline is Feb. 28, 2017 at 5pm.

TPA has partnered with two vendors to offer discounted PQRS reporting options to private practices:

PQRSWizard ($249/per physician):
Similar to online tax preparation software, the  PQRSWizard is a web-based tool to guide EPs through a few easy steps to help rapidly collect, validate, report, and submit the results to CMS.  You  MUST use this online link  to receive the discounted rate of $249/per physician (regularly $299).

Wellcentive ($279/per physician):
Wellcentive offers a PQRS user interface and support line to help physicians extract their data via Excel or manual entry via the website. If your data is currently included in Wellcentive via TPA's disease registry, Wellcentive can easily extract data to the PQRS software. You  MUST use this online Wellcentive link and discount code (5656) to receive the discounted rate of $279/per physician.

**You must use the links provided above to receive the discount pricing. You are NOT required to work with these vendors - these options are provided as a courtesy to TPA members.
Provider Delivered Care Management presentation available

The PDCM billing webinar provided information on billing and coding of the 13 provider delivered care management codes. The BCBSM PDCM program assists in supporting care management. Practices can submit care management codes for reimbursement to BCBSM.
