40th Annual Rick Drew
Holiday Parade December 11, 2011
It's hard to believe...our 40th Year for the Annual Rick Drew Holiday Parade on Sunday, December 11, 2011. This is a special celebration for our communities and we have great participation from local area Boy & Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, firefighters from NJ, PA, NY and local area businesses.
We invite you all to let us know if you would like to participate in the parade. We have donuts & hot chocolate at the firehouse in Matamoras at the end of the parade where we enjoy the awards ceremony for all the winners.
This year's Grand Marshall is George Belcher, who has been a supporter of our Parade for many years and always films the festivities. I guess this year, he'll have to ask some of Santa's elves to film the 40th Annual Parade since he'll be on our Grand Marshall Float!
Take a moment to download the Application and Sponsorship documents and let us know if you'd like to participate.

Window Dressing 2011 Holiday Season
It's that time of year when the Port Jervis High School's Rotary Interact Club invites our businesses in Port Jervis to dress their windows and storefronts for a great cause. The students will paint holiday decorations on your windows and in return ask that you donate allow them to have a "Pennies for Presents" collection box in your store to be collected in December. The proceeds will go to those students that are less fortunate for the holidays in the form of $20 Gift Cards.
Over the last few years the Interact Club has collected thousands of dollars for this project. This year, the Interact Club is requesting that all businesses that wish to participate, please start off the donation with $10 or more in the "Pennies for Presents" collection box at your location.
To sign up - please see the links below and contact the Chamber by November 9, 2011. All the painting will be done on Friday, November 11, 2011. Thanks so much to all the businesses that participated last year and we hope that you will again help support such a worthy cause.
