The Dogs...
We have noticed that there has been an improvement in the dogs and their behavior at the markets.  We recognize that it is because the dog owners are making a concerted effort
to follow the guidelines that have been recently posted.
Thank you!
The short leashes have really made a big impact and have helped a lot in making the markets safer and more enjoyable for everyone.  We love having the dogs attend the market and would like it to stay that way.  Your continued support with this matter is greatly appreciated.  Keep up the good work!

                      Wilde Rose Coffee
                        Meet our vendor, Ron Rose.

Ron will be celebrating  his 80th birthday this year.  He came to Tucson in 1963 to run Levy's Department store. Levy's closed in 1965 and Ron left Tucson to run a chain of six discount stores.  He lived in San Francisco as Director of Central Planning for Koret, a women's clothing manufacturer. In the early 1980's he went into the automobile industry as Toyota's Sales Manager.  In 1990 Ron moved back to Arizona  and established his first coffee house and learned how to roast coffee.  He recognized that the coffee consumer was changing and as a result was the first to develop and sell a dark roasted coffee.  Ron has been selling coffee in Tucson for over twenty years and truly loves what he does. Head over to the farmers'  market at Maynard's on Saturday as well as St. Philips on Sundays to meet Ron and experience his Cowboy Joe blend for yourself.   It gives the expression " a cup of Joe" a whole new meaning.
