Message from MARC:

It is often stress that brings us to mindfulness practice. Through MAPs for Daily Living classes, people discover crucial skills for dealing with everyday stress, anxiety, and reactivity. And often something else happens... people see how indispensable mindfulness is for healthy living: for the cultivation of self-compassion, for training our attention, and for finding well-being amid life's ups and downs. Six weeks can open the door, but they are just the beginning. We encourage deepening your practice through structured classes, daylongs, and retreats.

MARC offers MAPs II and MAPs III classes in May, such as "Next Steps" in Santa Monica. We have a daylong, "Cultivating Self-Compassion" coming up in early June, and our colleague Dr. Dan Siegel will be with us May 19. MARC now offers a weekend retreat for adults and a retreat just for teens this June.

Consider ways to deepen your practice and support living the mindful life.
