MassBenchmarks:  The economic journal of Massachusetts celebrates 20 years
September 26, 2017 marked the 20th anniversary for MassBenchmarks, which has been shedding light on the state's economy since 1997. As an initiative of the Institute's Economic & Public Policy Research group and the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, MassBenchmarks mobilizes economic policy and data experts in its timely distribution of reports, commentary and analysis. 
Report details impact of Cape Cod "2nd homes"

The Institute collected and used survey data from 1,300 homeowners on the Cape to help inform the regional land use planning officials on economic development and land-use planning. Learn more.
Civic Initiative teams with UMass Amherst's College of Education in Islamabad, Pakistan

UMass Civic Initiative Director Mike Hannahan, along with faculty from the UMass Amherst College of Education, appeared on national television in Pakistan to discuss the teacher training program they led recently in the nation's capital.  Watch the program .
