Hidden Heroes
Have you heard the news? We’ve been selected to receive a grant from the @ElizabethDoleFoundation’s 2018 Hidden Heroes Fund!  Learn more about how this grant will support the "Caregivers in the Community" initiative, which aims to link caregivers with community members and businesses eager to lend their support.

VCC in the Community
The goal of the "Careers in the Community" (CitC) initiative is to introduce veterans, military, and their spouses to career tracks they have an interest in pursuing by offering small group visits to local organizations. The 2-3 hour event includes a tour of the organization, overview from HR, and a panel discussion with current employees.

In the coming quarter, CitC featured employers include Shamrock Foods, USAA, and Mr. Cooper. We'll kick off the quarter with Shamrock Foods on Thursday, July 12th . To participate in this event, call 2-1-1 option 2 for more information.

Would you like for your company to be a featured employer? Contact us to learn more.
