Registration is now open for the 3rd Annual Vintage Motorsports Festival at Thompson Speedway
Motorsports Park. The three-day event will once again be co-sanctioned by the VRG and the VSCCA however, this year the event will run Thurs-Sat, June 23 - 25, 2016.
The event format this year has been revised and includes a Thursday 'Test Day' (giving drivers over 90 minutes of
available track time) along with VRG & VSCCA Group races on Friday and Saturday.
'Early Bird' entry is $425 (if payment is received by May 17, 2016) and includes 2 Friday Dinner Tickets
(additional tickets available @$35). Entries after May 17th will be $475.
Worried about signing up and then having to cancel? Don't worry! You're covered by the most
understanding and liberal refund policy in the vintage racing world-the VRG refund policy.
Register on
line at MotorsportReg and mail in a check...It doesn't get cashed until the race weekend starts and if
something happens to prevent you from coming...you get a full refund. (If you pay on line with a credit
card, you get everything but 5% back as MotorsportReg keeps the charges for supporting use of cards).
For those drivers wanting to max out their Thompson track time, TSMP is offering all VMF entrants
the opportunity to participate in their Driver's Club event, Sunday June, 26 from noon to 6pm.
VMF vintage entrants will have their own run group within the Driver's Club schedule. Additional cost
will only be $100, payable directly to TSMP. This is a special discounted price, available only to VMF entrants!

There will be 8 run groups (4 VRG and 4 VSCCA), which will include Formula Juniors who will be
running the fourth event on the 2016 Formula Junior Historics North America (FJHNA) calendar,
bringing together Formula Juniors from across the country!
Alfa Romeo is the Featured Marque for the 2016 VMF! There will be a Feature Race on both
Friday and Saturday for all (VRG & VSCCA) Alfa Racers!
The VMF's Special Guest this year will be Lyn St. James!
A veteran of 7 Indy 500's, as well as Class Winner at the 24 Hours of Daytona and 12 Hours of
Sebring, Lyn will be on hand, greeting race fans and signing books on Friday. She will also be the
Featured Speaker at our Friday Participants Reception & Dinner, which is included in your entry.
You won't want to miss it!
An air conditioned Driver's Lounge located at the garages, will offer competitors complimentary refreshments, Wi-Fi and internet
access, along with lap timing results and live timing and scoring.
