HAPPY NEW YEAR!

2013 was an amazing year for the Coalition, our member organizations, and for all women in the arts (yes, it's still a rocky road to respect and parity, but progress is being made).
2014 is going to be even better!

We have an exciting new Special Advisor to our Board(see below for more info).  Everyone loves the new logo, and is finding us at our new web address, www.womenartsmediacoalition.org
(you will still be re-directed for three more years if you go to our old web address or use our old email address).

We're building up our social media presence, and not just on facebook and Twitter (great pix there and on our website from our Collaboration Gala if you haven't seen them).  We're currently working on tumblr and Pinterest pages so follow us if you're on those sites--only a little bit of content now, but we're going to be building them up quickly.

Great upcoming event from LPTW (free! see below for more info) .  Find more member org events on our Online Calendar.  Many member org events are livestreamed online and/or archived on youtube and/or the organization's website.  So there's so much great content available to you, even if you're not able to attend events.  Keep checking.

(REMEMBER:  if you are a member of any of our member organizations, you are a member of the Coalition!

Looking forward to meeting you
and/or hearing from you soon,
Shellen Lubin and Avis Boone
Co-Presidents
for the Board of Representatives
Women in the Arts & Media Coalition, Inc.

Madeleine Smithberg
of Mad Cow Productions (and co-creator and past producer of The Daily Show), our fantabulous Keynote Speaker at our Collaboration Awards in October of 2013, is the newest Special Advisor on our Board of Organization Representatives and we are so excited to have her on board with us!

We're looking for Volunteers for 2014:  new Board Reps will be needed (Representatives from our Member Organizations), online assistance with our calendar and blog, and a new Cyber-Street Team of young awesome artistic women that will be overseen by Jessica Colie McClellan and Zija Lubin-West. If you're interested in being involved, e-mail us and let us know.
